Ultrasonic cleaning

This is a method for cleaning tartar and plaque. Extremely effective and almost painless.

The cleaning is done with a device with a very fine tip, at high speeds without damaging the tooth enamel. A stream of water flows from the tip, which washes away all the fine particles.

Ultrasonic cleaning is very suitable for patients who have gum disease (even those with periodontal disease with loose teeth and/or receding gums), because it can also clean well under the gum, i.e. where it is very difficult to access.

This type of cleaning reduces the occurrence of gingivitis and other gum diseases, and can even slightly whiten teeth.
