Chocolate without cavities!

Chocolate and sweet foods are inevitable temptations that we always associate with tooth decay.
According to recent studies, CARY affects just under 98% of the world’s population.
It is caused by the bacteria streptococcus mutans, which also like sweet foods, they help ferment carbohydrate residues. Their activity leads to a decrease in pH in the oral cavity and the gradual loss of minerals from the teeth (demineralization).
Teeth are infected by these bacteria mainly from someone else’s saliva, most often through using someone else’s eating utensils or biting into someone else’s food.
How can this scourge be stopped in time when a toothbrush is not nearby?
The answer is easy:
- With chewing gum
- By rinsing the mouth with water after meals and
- By building habits of using personal utensils and with fewer temptations to try your friend’s food
