This includes manipulations such as:
- tooth extraction
- surgery and removal of cysts
- apicoectomy (apical surgery)
- periodontal – plastic surgery around teeth and implants
- preprosthetic surgery
- purulent-septic oral surgery – treats inflammatory diseases (abscesses and phlegmons), treats soft tissue injuries and fractures of the facial and jaw bones and adjacent tissues
They are performed in an outpatient setting under local anesthesia or sedation.
